About Us

We are a friendly welcoming Baptist church and have been serving Bitterne Park and the surrounding areas for many years. Whether you are looking into Christianity for the first time, coming back to church after a break or moving to the area you are assured a warm welcome at any of our meetings.

We are pursuing a vision of becoming more like a genuine New Testament church, with openness to the Holy Spirit, modern worship and relevant teaching. We want to be faithful witnesses for Jesus in the Bitterne Park and Townhill Park areas of Southampton and provide local people with the opportunity of an encounter with God.

We belong to the Baptist Union of Great Britain and the Evangelical Alliance.

We were blessed to welcome Tim Peters and his family as our part-time minister in September 2022.
